The Answer

Being with this person is the most controversial part of my life. I made him the center of my world but like every love story, it has to end. Leaving and letting go was one of the toughest decisions I've made and time has proven that I did the right thing. We are both living in a separate world, and separated by a wall that will both will leave us untouched by the painful memory of the past, and yet will make us stronger with the lesson our meeting brought us.

I never thought I could love again
It was only him that I see then
I was blinded by the thought of forever
Of someone whom I thought would leave me never
It was only my pain that I feel
It seems it would never heal
When the night I knew about you
And how you've loved so true
I feel my pain subsiding
From a much greater sorrow she caused you
All seems so sudden that I began to forget
The face that causes me some regrets
In that same night I heard a voice
And it said something about a choice
But yet I shoved it off my mind for awhile
